Join us for an exciting Make a Silver Ring Workshop, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of silversmithing and create your very own handmade silver ring. This hands-on experience is perfect for beginners and craft enthusiasts alike, offering a chance to work with real silver using traditional jewellery-making techniques.

• Take Home: A custom-made silver ring

What to Expect

1. Introduction to Silversmithing

• Brief overview of silver properties and jewellery-making techniques

• Safety guidelines for handling tools and working with heat

2. Design & Sizing

• Choosing a ring style (simple band, textured, or stamped)

• Measuring and cutting the silver to the correct size

3. Shaping & Soldering

• Forming the silver into a perfect ring shape using a mandrel and mallet

• Soldering the ring join with a small jeweler’s torch

4. Finishing Touches

• Filing and smoothing rough edges

• Polishing to achieve a shiny, matte, or hammered finish

5. Final Showcase

• Admire your finished ring and celebrate your craftsmanship

Your booking fee secures your place – we cannot reserve places without payment. 

If we have to cancel for any reason you will be offered the option to switch to another class or receive a full refund. A minimum of 6 people is needed for the workshop to run.

If you are unable to attend a course for any reasonwe are unable to offer a refund. However, if you give more than seven days notice to cancel and we can fill your space on the course we may be able to offer you an alternative date. 

The minimum age to attend is sixteen. All 16/17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.
